All Thursday evening workshops are held in the Games Room of Fairbank Community Centre and begin at 6:30 pm, clean up at 8:45 pm. New potential members are welcome to drop in for a $5 fee per session.
January 23, 2025 - members choice, either use this time as an Open Studio or follow along with a YouTube Tutorial. Acrylic Negative Painting with Peter John Reid. A material list was distributed contact [email protected] if you need more information. January 30, 2025 - watercolour workshop with Susan Mott. There is some prep to be done t home with washes on paper so check your email or contact [email protected] February 6, 2025 General Meeting followed by an art talk. Bring a peice of art or an art book you love to discuss. Bring a snack to share too! (optional) February 13, 2025 - The Magic of Charcoal with Sharlena Wood. Material list was distributed and will be redistributed closer to the workshop. February 20, 2025 - Colour mixing with Emily Mandy February 27 and March 6, 2025 - Encaustics with Vashty Hawkins. Note: there is very limited enrolment for this, a total of 8 members, 4 per night. Enrolment is on a first come first serve basis. Reserve your spot by emailing [email protected] AFTER February 6th.
